Most would have heard the saying “Give a man a fish, and you feed him for a day; show him how to catch fish, and you feed him for a lifetime”. You may have also read on the back of a shampoo bottle, rinse and repeat.
Now take the two and think of training. Show someone, let them have a go and then do it all over again. That way they learn, become more productive and feel more empowered.

If you agree great. So, do you get trained? Does your company train people? Does it continually train people? Do they encourage training? Do they reward it? Many don’t and I find this a disappointment.

Every version of Microsoft Office that has been released has had new features, new ways of doing the same thing and sometimes has removed features no longer needed. Users need to know this. Unfortunately, there is a clear lack of training throughout some organisations.

I have seen people carry out tasks that take 10 – 15 minutes that could be done in a few minutes simply because of a lack of training.

Do you need to train your staff? We can help. Do you need to provide computer based training for Microsoft Office and Office 365 we can also help. Contact us.
